Katie Blore
Katie has over 23 years of experience driving growth through fundraising for humanitarian and international development organisations. She is currently Head of Strategy and Planning at Open, a creative and strategic marketing agency, where she addresses strategic challenges for various charities and NGOs.
Her expertise includes supporter recruitment, loyalty, and engagement, optimising fundraising with audience and data-driven insights. Katie’s career began with Greenpeace, fueling her passion for environmental issues. She has also led ActionAid UK’s Individual Giving department and held roles at Save the Children and Concern Worldwide.
Iain McSeveny
Iain has been the Director of Finance and Operations at Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP) since 2014. MAP strives to ensure that every Palestinian has access to a comprehensive, effective, and locally-led healthcare system and full realisation of their rights to health and dignity.
A chartered accountant, Iain previously worked for seven years at Amnesty International UK. From 1989 to 2006, he worked for Greenpeace UK and Greenpeace China, joining about one hundred direct actions on land and sea in this period.
Harj Narulla
Harj is a UK and Australian qualified lawyer, practising as a barrister at Doughty Street Chambers in London, specialising in public interest climate law and litigation.
Harj represents states, intergovernmental organisations, and NGOs in climate cases, with a focus on clients and affected communities in the Global South. Harj is an Honorary Research Associate in climate law and litigation at Oxford’s Sustainable Law Programme and a Visiting Senior Fellow at LSE’s Grantham Research Institute. He teaches an annual seminar on indigenous rights and environmental law at Cambridge.
Ayeisha Thomas-Smith
Ayeisha is a social movement strategist, facilitator, and broadcaster focused on organising for a new economy. She is the Executive Director of the New Economy Organisers Network (NEON) and co-founder and Chair of KINfolk Black Activist Network.
Ayeisha has held governance roles with the Public Interest Research Centre and Common Wealth and advised organisations like IPPR, NESTA, and the Joseph Rowntree Charitable Trust. She presents the New Economics Podcast for the New Economics Foundation and Economics with Subtitles for BBC Radio 4.
