WIN! Two free tickets to anti-fracking beer launch party

All this fracking is enough to drive someone to drink. But now it seems even that's under threat. Some breweries are becoming worried that contaminated water supplies, as a result of fracking, could have "dire consequences" on the production of beer.

Weighed against catastrophic climate change, this may be low down on some people's list of priorities. However, when you think about all these fracking jobs the government keeps promising (which, by the way, have been debunked as well), and you think of the thousands employed by the beweries, that argument looks even more shaky.

Not to mention the beer! You can't mess with that and expect the British public to keep quiet.

If you're a beer lover you might be slightly heartened to know that the first ever anti-fracking beer is being launched. It's been created by micro brewery, Hop Fuzz, who operate in the fracking heartland of Kent and Sussex.

The beer is being launched on Wednesday 12th March at an Asian Dub Foundation anti-fracking benefit gig in London. The whole shebang has been organised by We Need to Talk About Fracking, the new campaign spearheaded by Vivienne Westwood. So alongside some fine beer and great music, expect some brightly coloured gowns and wise words from the grand lady herself.

The event takes place at Rollerdisco in Vauxhall and tickets cost £10/12. More information can be found on their Facebook page.

However we've got two free tickets to give away to one lucky person. All you have to do is retweet this tweet and you'll be entered into our prize draw.

So get tweeting and good luck!

There are a few rules too.

You'll need to tweet before 12 noon tomorrow, Wednesday 12 March and you'll need to be over 18. We'll pick the winner blindfolded and if you win your names will be on the guest list, so no tickets required. It's not our event though so if you have any questions about it, drop a line to the organiser's via the event Facebook page.
