Greenpeace videos on Youtube
Posted by jossc on 24 July 2007.

For me one of the coolest things about our new-look site is that we're carrying a lot more streaming video courtesy of the good folks at YouTube. But did you know that we now have our own YouTube Greenpeace UK Video Channel?
Provided that you have a broadband connection it's a good place to visit to catch up on the latest Greenpeace videos from around the the world, conveniently organised into playlists broken down by subject, such as climate, forests or oceans related. And if what you're seeing inspires you to react you can leave a comment, or even post your own video in response.
If you already have your own YouTube channel and like what you see you can subscribe to our channel and our latest videos will appear in your 'Subsciptions' box as they are uploaded. Or you can register as a friend and we'll email you a link to the latest videos as they appear. Most of our vids give you access to the source code so you can easily embed your favourites into your own web pages.
It's a great place to use as a jumping off point to monitor environmental stories and debates going on all over the world, as more and more of us start putting our thoughts and ideas about tackling climate change and other global problems online. And if you've seen a great video which you think we should know about, send us the link and we'll add it to our 'Favourites'. If it's funny or has an original take on an issue, so much the better.
So go and take a look when you've got a minute - there's lots of good stuff there already and it's growing week by week.
